This is an excellent Yamaha YOB-831 Custom model professional oboe in terrific condition.
The Yamaha Custom instruments are consistently superior instruments. They are highly regarded for their excellent tone and responsiveness, superior intonation, and unfaltering attention to detail. This is a terrific example of a fine oboe. This model is a European bore oboe that features a focused, direct sound. This oboe is solid grenadilla wood and is hand finished. It features the full conservatory system,third octave key, and a variety of trill keys. This particular one is in excellent condition. It has just been gone over by my tech and is ready to play.
