Professionally gouged Marion cane. Marion cane is grown in southern France, in the Grimaud region. This cane is beautifully yellow, dense, and medium-hard. Reeds made on Marion cane have a higher-than-average longevity.
Cane is gouged on a Reeds'n'Stuff Ridilla model gouger. I have personally set up this machine to produce cane with a center measurement between .58-.60mm and a side measurement of .45-.47mm on the RDG-1N shape. I shape cane with the Reeds'n'Stuff shaping machine for a highly consistent end result.
