    This is a vacuum tight, plastic oboe top joint that sounds very good.  It has a new replacement tendon. T
    he top joint holds a good vacuum. The tendon size is 5/8 inch.
    Before ordering this item be sure to measure the diameter of the top tendon hole of your bottom oboe joint to make sure that it is 5/8 of an inch to assure this top joint will fit the lower joint of your oboe.
    This top joint will replace your cracked  or damaged top joint. This top joint can be  used when playing in hot temperatures or very cold temperatures where you do not want to expose your good top joint.
    This top joint does not have any cracks or damage. The serial number for this top joint is F5602.  It is impossible to know how old this top joint is or who made it. The keys are tight indicating that this oboe top joint has not been played very much or is not very old .The keys seem to be made of good quality metal and are silver plated.
