    I'm a clarinet player, former band director, with a tiny bit of oboe playing ability. This oboe played fine for me whenever I tried it with no noticeable issues. The last photo show a small hairline crack that does not seem to be present on the inside of the instrument. If you would like to try it, please bring your own reed.

    Oboe by Robert Malerne, Paris. Malerne manufactured all kinds of instruments up to 1965, after which the factory specialised itself in clarinets and oboes for the professional market. Malerne was acquired by the world-famous Marigaux in 1971, but oboes with the Malerne name were manufactured for a few years still.
