    Description

    This is aa bell made of two different woods. The principle wood is Cedar with a ring of white Lemon wood at the bottom of the bell. The out side surface is covered with two coats of polyurethane, the inside surface has been oiled with sweet almond oil. The bell is not designed to play low Bb. However the design was experimentality designed to play all the high notes up into the leger lines.
    The tendon hole in this bell is 7/8 inch in diameter.  Before buying this bell you need to measure the diameter of the male lower joint of your lower oboe joint to make sure that this bell will fit your oboe.
