    Description

    This is a carefully made bell is designed just for an oboe to make the oboe tone sound sort of like an oboe d'amore, especially on the low notes. This bell takes the harshness out of the middle and upper range of the oboe. It does not change the pitch of any note.
    This bell fits a tendon that is 7/8 inch in diameter. Be sure to measure the diameter of your oboe lower joint tendon to make sure that this bell will fit on your oboe. This bell will not turn your oboe into an  oboe d'amore however it will create a very pleasing sound, sounding sort of like an oboe d'amore.  There is no provision for a Bb key.  The bell is made from aged, wild cherry wood with a  a polyurethane coating.  The interior surface has been oiled .
