This is a metering pump and jacketed pressure pot for use with polyurethane foam or RIM machines. This system was removed from a specialized RIM machine that was built but never put into production so it was never used and has been preserved with oil. The main components are the the jacketed tank, metering pump, air driven agitator, float switch, level sight tube, and temperature probe. The pump is mounted to the base of a structural tube which is then mounted to the underside of the lid. The pump driveshaft passes through the structural tube and then through the lid using a mechanical seal. A regular C-face electric motor with Love-joy coupler can be bolted to the flange adapter to drive the pump. The reservoir is jacketed for heating or cooling fluid.
The interior of the vessel is very clean and free of corrosion.
