Horton oboe serial number PR9474 needs restoration

Horton oboe S/N PR9474 stamped on two sections. “Horton” is stamped only on the bell.
I can’t find any info about Horton (it’s NOT Holton) woodwinds so it may be a “jobber brand” manufactured by another company for a shop, school, etc. Age unknown.
Ebony, I think. Not certain but the keys appear to be nickel plated.
The sections are 10 1/8 inches, 10 inches, 9 inches, and 5 inches long (the bell).The bell’s diameter is 2 inches.
I’m certain this will need a lot of work to play properly. Pads, corks, cork gaskets between sections, etc. There appear
to be two
keys that are supposed to be coupled together when the sections are assembled but don't line up; one may be bent.
Springs seem to work but I don’t know if their tension is as it should be since I don’t play.
Has not been cleaned or polished.
Doesn’t seem to be very much wear on the keys’ plating.
There are seven small filled holes on one section, I’ve seen these in pics of other woodwinds instruments but I’m not sure what their purpose is. There does appear to be a small crack between the two rows of filled holes so my guess is that they are from an old crack repair. I don’t see any other cracks, but it’s possible that I missed something.
There’s an unused compartment for something in the case, judging by the size perhaps a mouthpiece or spare mouthpiece? It looks like it has a mouthpiece but this is the first oboe I’ve ever examined so I don’t know what they’re supposed to have.
Includes two apparently unused Jones reeds…the box has a bar code on the bottom so the reeds can’t be very old.
The case is in decent shape but the handle’s missing.
Assume that this instrument will need a complete overhaul to avoid being disappointed.
