GORDET OBOE ("Italian model" Gordet) made by Bulgheroni

Description

Gordet (Ben Storch) Bulgheroni professional model oboe with 3rd octave key.
Will need complete overhaul and restoration.
Two cracks in upper joint (through to bore) in upper joint. Well repaired with pins. Pin holes need new putty fill.
Salvage, though most likely salvageable to become a good playing instrument.
Nothing frozen.  Key fitting is excellent except for minor "click" on F# hinge tube.
Bore is good aside from the cracks- just some minor surface roughness in the bore of the upper joint.
Before I backed off most all the rods to make sure that nothing was frozen,
I was able to play the notes on the upper joint, two octaves- it sounded really good.
Comes with extra bell, a plastic bell that does fit on the lower joint, though I do not know whether it will be a match for the oboe once the instrument has been overhauled.  The Bulgheroni lower tenon joint is not compatible with Loree or Covey bells.
Case in good condition.  Sold "as is" only.  This could be a good practice instrument for someone learning oboe repair...
