Description

Up for auction is a used professional Fratelli Patricola PT-3 full conservatory wood oboe with a third octave key, a left hand F key, a split ring key and a Bb resonance bell key. There is also an additional connection key on the upper keyed section. All keys move freely and the pads/corks are in fair to good condition. There are no cracks present or repaired and no bore issues exist. The oboe has minor scratches throughout from normal use and the lightly tarnished silver plated keys have minor wear, with approximately 95% of the silver plating intact. This oboe has recently been shop adjusted/regulated and plays fine now on older pads, but an overhaul may be required for optimal playing condition. The serial number is in the upper 2xx range. Included is a somewhat used wood shell oboe case with zippered cover(interior is sound, exterior has minor wear, zipper operates and is showing wear), two tenon caps, two bore swabs and a tiny screw driver.
