For sale is a Relatively Recent Production (appx. 1996) Fox Professional Model 400 Oboe in Beautiful condition.
This Oboe is ALL WOOD
and has all the bells and whistles, Including the Left F and Low Bb key, and others.
Fox is known for making some of the best oboes available, and at this level of instrument, is very competitive with Loree.
This instrument is Full Conservatory and is the most popular professional wood oboe models that Fox makes.
It has many alternate keys and adjustments expected in a high end professional instrument, including the split Eb, left F key along with others.
It includes a quieter mechanism due to the design and materials used.
The wood body is in great condition overall. The grain on this instrument is particularly rich, and gives it a beautiful tone.
Its
keys are silver plated and really look great!
The case is the original fox case.
