This listing is for a Professional Fox Model Oboe (Model #300) in excellent condition, made in 1992. This instrument is a very high quality Oboe. Foxes are widely regarded as one of the absolute best brands for double-reed instruments. This instrument is Full Conservatory and is the Professional resonite composite oboe that Fox makes. It is made by hand in the same fashion as the model 400, but utilizes a resin body that is much easier to maintain than a wooden instrument with no risk of cracking even when exposed to inclement weather. The keys are silver plated and really look great! Photos below are of the instrument you will be receiving. This is a true professional instrument. Unlike other fox renard models, this instrument is all handmade and hand-bored, giving it a superior response and intonation profile. It is in excellent condition. There are some scratches on instrument body. Silver plating on the keys is very shiny and has some stubborn tarnish and wear in a few spots. It does make a great visual impression. Also included is a nice hard case pictured.
