    This instrument is the fruit of a cooperation between Fossati and Jean Marc Liet who tunes the english horns. This oboe has been designed to allow young kids, aged from 5 to 6, to play with a light and normal instrument. Thanks to that instruments they get used to the embouchure as well as the position of their fingers. To be played, this instrument does not require a special reed. The reed has to be quite scraped to make the playing easy for the children. The bore as been designed for this purpose and doesn't not allowed to play with hard reeds. At this stage, the kids are more playing like nursery rhyme than proper classic pieces.

    Gˆrard Fossati created his first instrument in 1983 bringing to it his already extensive skills and experience. He also showed a strong desire to improve the oboe making in general.
