3 Vintage French Oboe Cases. Marigaux, Loree, Selmer. Make An Offer!.
3 old oboe cases. Make me an offer! Help me clean out my office!
Case 1:
Marigaux French case. Wood shell. Leather covered exterior, blue velvet interior. Leather handle worn but intact. This case is in poor condition, but may be restorable or used for parts. No bad smells. Fairly clean interior.
Case 2:
Very old Loree (?). I’m not really sure on the brand - this previously held a very old A series Loree, which is why I’m calling it a Loree, but I have no idea. The case has leather covered exterior and green velvet interior. Double leather handle worn but intact. The hardware on the case is in excellent condition. The locking mechanism appears intact, but is missing the key. Structurally the case is very sound/solid. No bad smells. Outside looks pretty good. Inside is worn. Functional. Could be restored.
Case 3:
Selmer. Old NY logo, likely held an old Selmer Paris oboe. Purple velvet interior. The leather has been removed from the exterior exposing the wood, which is actually quite pretty. Could be sanded and stained? Double rope handle worn but intact. Hardware is intact and functional. Locking mechanism looks intact, but missing key. Case is structurally sound and functional. No bad smells. Interior is worn.
